Belarussian born Natalia Chernogolova is one of the outstanding contemporary female artists to paint in oils, very often she will even express herself with her hands, laying aside her paint brush. "Hands are much more expressive," she claims and "give me more power to express myself", "they give me a better touch". She even paints with her toes- lest some misfortune might happen to her hands!
It, was Chagal himself who inspired her to emulate his unusual entrance into the gallery mounted on a white horse. Here she proceeded to paint as if at a chess exhibition, using several canvases at once!

Glebow’s Arts High School in Minsk. In the years1976-82 Natalia studied at the Painting and Graphics faculty of the Pedagogical University in Vitebsk - home town of famous Mark Chagal - and was graduated from it in 1982 .
